The following is a list of of effects that COVID-19 is having on us and our suppliers;
Savewell – All staff are working from home for the foreseeable future and the business will run as normal. The only exception being that unless absolutely necessary, we ask members currently receiving paper statements until everything is resolved that you either download your statement or alternatively request that we email you a PDF copy.
Card Connection – Until further notice our offices in both Dewsbury and Farnham will be closed due to the government advise to work from home as much as possible. All our staff will now be working from home for the time being, but they all have full access to all our systems they would normally use when in office.
Colman Wholesale – Colman Wholesale is currently closed. We will not be taking any orders until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused
AG Barr – We are now looking to minimise our drivers time in store whilst they are delivering to members and to support social distancing. So for the coming weeks we will either make the delivery to the front of the store – or to a rear door – allowing our drivers and members to distance themselves as much as possible . Our Telesales teams will ask customers what their preference is when they are taking orders.
S Gregory – Closed for the foreseeable future
Riverside Cards – For the foreseeable future we will not be providing a personal delivery and merchandising service as this would contravene the Government’s instructions on essential travel and compromise all of our efforts to maintain appropriate social distancing.
What we are able to do is contact existing customers by telephone / email and take orders (minimum 100 cards) which we will ship to them direct carriage paid on a sale or return basis. The 100 card minimum order is about 1 card per pocket for a 1 metre display. For customers who use our consignment model we will differentiate the sale or return stock with a special sticker which will mean that it can be identified when we return to our normal operating model and the appropriate adjustments made.
Warburtons – We are being affected at an operational and distributional level, which is beginning to impact our ability to distribute to our customers base. As such we have had to initiate a minimum drop size delivery based on average drop size prior to the beginning of Covid-19 . This will come into effect from the 27th of March and will be for an initial 14 day period after which we will assess the situation and look to reinstate our service were ever possible to our customers.
Bliss Distribution – Due to Covid-19 our offices are currently closed until further notice as per government guidelines. We hope to be open for business again as soon as possible.
Williams of Swansea – Williams of Swansea are still trading. The Sales team are furloughed however warehouse staff are still operational
Greencroft Milk Supplies – Following a review of the current situation relating to Covid-19, GMS Ltd have, in order to maintain deliveries, made the decision to move our deliveries to 3 days a week
Baruch Enterprises – We at Baruch are still open and can deliver next day
Flavour Warehouse – As off 25/03/20 our operational services remain open. We will advise if this situation changes. To assist us in processing orders, please where possible use our Batch Order System available at portal.flavourwarehouse.co.uk or email firstname.lastname@example.org Our SLA’s have been extended, with expected order dispatch between at 2-3 days from order date for UK stock
Jacksons – We are still picking and distributing orders at present. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we have unfortunately had no choice but to cancel the Spring Promotion due to the current shortage of supplies. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Paper Rose – As a result of the Governments restrictions in relation to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, Paper Rose has suspended its operations until further notice. This decision has not been taken lightly, but we believe it is the morally responsible course of action necessary during this national crisis.
S Gregory & Co – We have taken the COVID -19 warnings from the Government very seriously and for the first time in our companies 64 years of trading history we have never been forced to temporally close our doors until now and in line with the UK Governments instructions. We are a family run company and it is paramount that we protect our staff and their families from coming into contact with this horrible virus to the best of our ability. Some of our office team are able to work remotely in a limited capacity and respond to emails as required. Our phone lines have been diverted to Paul who is on hand to help you as required. The Gregory team will be back to work as soon as the UK Government lifts the lock down restrictions, which we now have to face.
Second Nature – Under these incredibly tough times, I am writing to advise that Second Nature will be operational over the coming weeks however, running on skeleton staffing levels. If you are able to continue to trade within the restricted channels, we will do whatever we can to help maintain any requirements.
