FOUNDED IN SEPTEMBER 1956 BY STANLEY GREGORY
He borrowed a few hundred pounds, and spent half of it on a van and the rest on stock. He was probably one of the original van sales people.
We are still very much a family business with his daughter Jill and her husband Thomas now running the business. Things have changed in that the range of goods now carried is a far cry from the stationery originally stocked. Toys, gifts and especially soft toys are the order of the day. We now have what we consider to be the best range of soft toys available through a distributor in this country. Added to this, the super novelty money boxes, egg cups and salt and pepper sets from Oriental Ceramics, makes us an ideal one stop shopping experience for all your stationery, toys, soft toys and gifts.
Stanley Gregory had a simple idea that, if you looked after your customers they would in turn look after you. We at S. Gregory & Co endeavour to maintain that tradition.
